Privacy Notice

Mario Polanco, operating as "Los Cabos Rental App" in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico, is responsible for your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

• Waitlist: your email address, the role you choose (renter, landlord or agent) and the date you signed up.
• Contact form: your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message.
• Site analytics: Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous visit data such as the page viewed, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and country. It does not use cookies, and we cannot identify you from it.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, financial data or identity documents through this website.

• Waitlist: to email you when the app opens.
• Contact form: to reply to your message.
• Analytics: to see how many people visit the site and which pages are useful.

We do not use your data for any other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing emails.

We use these service providers to run the site. They handle data only on our behalf:

• Web3Forms: delivers waitlist signups and contact form messages to our email inbox.
• Google Workspace: hosts the email inbox where those messages arrive.
• Vercel: hosts the website and provides the analytics described above.

These providers may store data on servers outside Mexico, including in the United States. Like most websites, this site also loads fonts and code from Google Fonts and the Tailwind CSS CDN, which receive your IP address as part of the normal web request.

We do not transfer your personal data to anyone else, unless the law requires it.

You can ask to access, rectify or cancel (delete) your personal data, or oppose its use. You can also withdraw your consent or ask to be taken off the waitlist at any time.

To make a request, use our contact form, email hola@caborentalapp.com, or call +52 624 503 0036. Please include your name, the email address you used with us, and what you are asking for. If you want something corrected, tell us the correct information.

We may ask you to confirm that you control the email address. We will reply within 20 business days. If your request is valid, we will carry it out within 15 business days after replying.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The site saves your language choice (English or Spanish) in your browser's local storage so it remembers it next time. You can clear it in your browser settings.

We keep waitlist entries until the app opens and we have let you know, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. After that, we delete the data.

This website is not meant for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a minor has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

If this notice changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If we ever want to use your data for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent first.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Mexican authority in charge of personal data protection. Since 2025, that is the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, which took over this role from INAI.
